| PESHAWAR (APP): In order to enhance literacy ratio in Kurram Agency, MNA Sajid Hussain Tori said Thursday that a university and two new colleges would be constructed in Parachinar to equip tribal youth with the ornament of education. Addressing a press conference at Parachinar, headquarters of Kurram Agency, he said President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani are taking keen interest in promotion of education and development of tribal area. He said two new degree colleges and a university would soon start function. He said the government was endeavouring to provide technical education to tribal youth. The lawmaker from Kurram Agency said peace is must for development and prosperity and urged tribesmen to unit against militancy and terrorism. He paid rich tributes to the security forces' sacrifices and assured to fight shoulder to shoulder with our troops for protection of motherland. Tori said problems of tribal people would be addressed at priority level and sought cooperation to keep close eyes on the developmental projects to make them durable and life long. |
