Gunmen Ambush Passenger Coach in Hangu; 8 Hurt

HANGU: At least eight persons were injured when unknown gunmen attacked their coach in Hangu district of militancy-hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday.

The attack took place at Kotki area in Hangu.

Reports say that the coach was traveling to Peshawar from Parachinar when a group of militants opened indiscriminate fire, leaving eight injured.

Police reached the scene and transferred the injured men to Hangu District Hospital.

It may be mentioned here that 11 persons were killed when militants stormed a Peshawar-bound coach in Hangu on March 13.
