PARACHINAR: Thirteen hostages were freed through the efforts of local peace jirga in Kurram Agency on Monday. Tribal sources said two tribes had kidnapped 20 persons of each other a few months ago. Seven of them were killed while 13 were still in their custody and were released on Monday at Balishkhel checkpoint after hectic efforts made by the peace jirga.
