ISLAMABD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani took the government allies, the MQM and ANP, and Fata parliamentarians into confidence before the start of the in camera session of Parliament on Friday.
During the meeting with Fata MPs, the prime minister, accepting their long-standing demand of releasing Rs1 billion for the sectarian clashes-affected families of Kurram Agency, gave directions to release the money. The premier also assured the MQM and ANP that he will take along his allies at all costs.
According to sources, in the garb of devising a strategy, the prime minister told the parliamentarians about the subtlety and importance of the in camera session, and, in particular, told the Fata legislators not to put emotional questions and pay heed to the briefings.
An MP of a government ally, on condition of anonymity, confirmed such meetings, and termed them a briefing before briefing.
