Security forces kill 5 militants in S Waziristan

WANA: Security forces killed five militants and injured eight during fresh offensive against militants in South Waziristan.According to sources, operation Rah-e-Nijat is on in Makeen, Ladha and other areas against extremists and five militants were killed and eight others wounded in the action. Gunship helicopters pounded militants’ positions in Janta area and destroyed six hideouts.
Security forces took control of various areas and seized huge arms cache including suicide jackets during operation underway since October 17.
On the other hand, forces targeted militants’ vehicle in Khoway Dadkhel area in central Kurram Agency killing one militant and injuring seven others.
