| 5 militants killed in Kurram Agency clash |
Updated at: 1047 PST, Wednesday, November 04, 2009 PARACHINAR: Five militants have been killed in a militants attack on security forces check post and retaliatory action in adjoining area of Kurram Agency.Sources said militants attacked check post with heavy and automatic weapons in Spantal area. However, no loss of life was reported. Security forces in reply shelled militants' hideouts in Spantal and Chinaniga area in Lower Kurram. Five militants were killed and several others wounded in the action. Two hideouts were also destroyed. Tal-Kurram Agency Road and Tal Road in North Waziristan have been closed after the incident. |
